Miquel is a theoretical physicist specializing in quantum science, with a particular interest in quantum computing and software. He holds a bachelor's degree in Physics (2023, UB) and a master's degree in Quantum Science and Technology (2024, UB-UPC-UAB). In addition to quantum software, Miquel's education also focused on classical computing methods for quantum science, such as Tensor Networks, Machine Learning, and other many-body quantum simulations.

Miquel is currently pursuing a PhD as part of the N3Cat group, where he focuses on developing software for multi-core quantum computing architectures.
