Junaid Khan is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Architecture at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya with the N3Cat group, focusing on Coupling and Error Models for Integrated Quantum Communication Links in multi-core quantum architectures.

With a solid foundation in physics, Junaid academic journey starts from a bachelor's in Physics, emphasizing Materials Science, to a master's in Quantum Computing. His practical insights stem from his roles as a Research Assistant at COMSATS University and as a Physics and Mathematics Teacher at NESDO International Academy Myanmar. He has also undergone internship training focusing on material characterization at the IBN-E-SINA Institute of Technology in Pakistan.

In addition to his work and academic experience, Junaid has an impressive record of publication, with notable work on noise-tolerant superconducting gates published in the Journal of Russian Laser Research. His academic excellence has been recognized through several awards and honors, including a fully funded scholarship for Ph.D. studies from the European Innovation Council, ranking second in the COMSATS Final Year Project & Career Expo for his bachelor's final year project, and receiving the award from the Higher Education Commission in Islamabad, Pakistan.
