Johannes Weinert
FIB-UPC
Master Student
Data Science Master’s student at UPC, currently working on the generation of realistic synthetic quantum circuits within the N3Cat group.
Johannes Weinert is a Master’s student in Data Science at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he works with the N3Cat research group. His current research aims to generate synthetic quantum circuits with realistic structure to benchmark emerging quantum hardware using a blend of statistical, algorithmic and optimization techniques.
Johannes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from TU Braunschweig (Germany). Before joining UPC, he gained hands-on experience in full-stack development and data science projects. Notably, a data science internship at Volkswagen Bank solidified his decision to specialize in this field.
