Axel Wassington obtained his Master in Innovation and Research in Informatics (MIRI) with specialization in distributed systems at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2021 and his Base degree in computer engineering with specialization in computer intelligence in 2014 at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA).
Currently he is a PhD student at UPC, collaborating in the Barcelona Neural Network (BNN) and the N3Cat research groups. The research is mainly in the areas of graph neural networks (GNN), graph theory and quantum circuits. He also holds a position at Quantagonia company that develops optimization software using a distributed hybrid-classical quantum strategy.
